Paraguay's economy is heavily driven by agriculture and livestock, creating a consistent demand for high-quality galvanized hexagonal wire netting. However, the subtropical climate, characterized by high humidity and intense seasonal rainfall, leads to rapid oxidation of standard steel products, forcing farmers to seek more durable alternatives.
Currently, there is a significant shift toward plastic coated chicken wire. Local producers are recognizing that polymer coatings provide an essential barrier against the corrosive humid air of the Chaco and Eastern regions, extending the lifecycle of poultry enclosures significantly compared to traditional uncoated wire.
Despite the availability of basic mesh, the market lacks specialized, high-tensile coated chicken wire fence that can withstand the pressure of larger livestock while maintaining flexibility. This gap has led to an increase in imports of precision-engineered mesh that meets international E-E-A-T industrial standards.
